- Moth and Rabbit Perfumes
Perfumer Mark Buxton: There are several elements and moments in the film Blow Up that struck me deeply and prompted me to create an olfactory; Repetitive wood textures in the photographer’s car and loft, antiques, chemicals in the darkroom, dusty feathers, green leaves in the park and marijuana.
However, the moment that spoke to me the most and served as inspiration for this fragrance is the scene with the oil painting. The oil painting becomes a metaphor reality vs. fantasy.
Pyramid
Top: absinthe, saffron, cardamom, cassis, oil paint, buds
Heart: Cedar leaf, Myrrh, Frankincense, Encens Pyrogen, Cypriol, Chinese Cedarwood
Base: lacquer cistus, birch, leather, woody notes, amber, civet abs.
