Lightscape by Ulrich Lang New York is like a fresh breeze.
geranium and a top note of citrusy bergamot, brings out the vibrant energy of a lively cosmopolitan city after dark. Composed of galbanum and Sicilian lemon with notes of violet, the fragrance is crisp, fresh and sophisticated at the same time. It’s light enough to apply every day, yet pronounced enough to ground you. The freshness in Lightscape comes not predominantly from a citrus family, but from the cucumber-fresh violet leaf, which Lang combines with notes of galbanum and Sicilian lemon. The heart note reveals violet blossoms that blend with floral accords, noble woody notes and amber to create a modern olfactory experience. In the base, chords of musk, woods and creamy tonka bean give Lightscape a warm sensuality.
Origin story
Staying true to Ulrich Lang New York’s roots in the art scene, the Lightscape packaging design was photographed by Elspeth Diederix, who lives in Amsterdam.
The visual artist uses photography to capture her sculptural ideas.
Diederix enhances images of nature, creating a new level of conceptual beauty.
Diederix adds another dimension to her billowing cloud image by layering flashes of light over it, capturing the essence of Lightscape’s airy scent.
