Aperture presents itself as cosmopolitan and inspiring. A melange of notes of pink, black and white pepper and aldehydes in the top note combines with spicy tobacco, cedar, delicately scented jasmine and delicate lily of the valley in the base. This refined perfume is rounded off by musk, vetiver, animalic notes and amber.
Origin story
Ulrich Lang New York Fragrances is the first company to combine fine fragrances with contemporary photography. With his latest fragrance, Ulrich Lang supports the non-profit photography foundation “Aperture”.
The APERTURE fragrance features the work of contemporary photographer Olivia Bee.
Ulrich Lang and the Aperture Foundation are committed to promoting the most inspiring works of contemporary photography. So it was obvious that the choice fell on Olivia Bee.
Bee, who had already created a remarkable body of work at the age of 19, captures the warmth of APERTURE with her dreamlike series of paintings, “Quiet.”
The image on the product packaging shows the outline of a young man against a radiant sky, immersed in red-orange and lavender light.
The image reflects the multi-layered, contemplative and sensual fragrance that Lang has developed. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Aperture Foundation’s education program.
