In summer, Paris is by the sea. In Normandy, tout Paris strolls along the promenades of Deauville. Noblesse mixes with the clarity of the sea, unites cosmopolitan city with fishing boats. “No one can live with a narrow horizon!” exclaimed Coco Chanel, opening her first boutique in Deauville. LA PLAGE DE PARIS holds this attitude to life: timeless elegance and the temperament of the coast. LA PLAGE DE PARIS combines the delicacy of coastal shrubs such as cassis, juniper berries and the freshness of bergamot and mandarin in the top notes with the elegance of roses, magnolias, freesias and jasmine as heart notes, to finish in the depth of cedar wood, patchouli, amber and labdanum as base.
Origin story
The success of our first fragrance EAU DU LEVANT inspired us to further develop the idea of marine perfume. After creating a cultural fragrance of the Mediterranean, the focus fell on the fashionable seaside resorts on the Atlantic coast, which are visited by many Parisians, especially in the summer. What is striking here is the ambivalence between urban noblesse and rough ocean – an exciting field of tension between man, nature and culture.
Once again, star perfumer Geza Schön implemented the idea together with Nikolaus Gelpke and designed LA PLAGE DE PARIS, this time a bit more feminine, more elegant. Once again, high-quality and natural ingredients were used in the development of the fragrance.
